Soccer Recap: Irvine Takes a Loss

Irvine was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 4-0 to the Garden Grove Argonauts. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Vaqueros of the 1-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2014.

Irvine's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Garden Grove, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1-2.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing San Pedro the next time they take the pitch. Irvine will head out to face San Pedro at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, while Garden Grove will play them later in the day, at 11:00 a.m.
