Football Recap: Columbia Academy Comes Up Short + How To Watch

While it was Columbia Academy who put the first points on the board on Saturday, it was Pope John Paul II who put up more. The Bulldogs took a 34-21 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Knights. The Bulldogs were up 14-0 in the first quarter but couldn't hold on to the lead.

Those 202 rushing yards gave Cantrell a new career-high. Another signal caller making a difference was Isaiah Batten, who threw for 260 yards and two TDs while completing 78.3% of his passes.

Columbia Academy now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Pope John Paul II, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
