Basketball Game Preview: Classical Academy Caimans vs. Tri-City Christian Eagles

The Classical Academy Caimans are taking a road trip to take on the Tri-City Christian Eagles at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Classical Academy saw some tournament action back in December of 2024. They took a hard 35-18 fall against San Dieguito Academy. The game marked the Caimans' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Tri-City Christian beat Vista 50-44 on Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

Classical Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Tri-City Christian, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Classical Academy was able to grind out a solid victory over Tri-City Christian in their previous matchup back in January of 2023, winning 35-24. The rematch might be a little tougher for Classical Academy since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
