Soccer Recap: Franklin County's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak at Home

Franklin County and Murray County squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Franklin County had to settle for second. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Indians. The shutout was out of character for Franklin County seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in March.

Franklin County's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-7. As for Murray County, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-8.

Franklin County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Murray County, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Jordan on the 2nd.
