Soccer Recap: Earlham Comes Up Short

Earlham was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They took a 4-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Des Moines Christian Lions. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Earlham of the 5-2 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Earlham's loss dropped their record down to 2-9-1. As for Des Moines Christian, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 8-6.

Earlham has already played their next matchup, an 8-1 defeat against Boone on the 6th. As for Des Moines Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 4-2 victory against Winterset on the 5th.
