Softball Recap: Lovett Comes Up Short

The Lovett Lions came up short against the North Paulding Wolfpack on Saturday, falling 11-2.

Riley Gallagher was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two runs.

Lovett's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for North Paulding, their win bumped their record up to 3-5.

Coincidentally, Lovett and North Paulding will both be playing Chapel Hill the next time they take the field. The Wolfpack will head out to face the Panthers at 12:15 p.m. on Saturday, while the Lions will play them later in the day, at 2:30 p.m.
