Hudson was the 16-4 winner over Grundy Center when they last played one another on June 7th, but their luck changed this time around. The Pirates fell just short of the Spartans by a score of 4-3 on Tuesday. The Pirates' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Hudson's defeat dropped their record down to 14-8. As for Grundy Center, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hudson will take on Jesup at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Grundy Center, they will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Denver at 7:00 p.m.
