Softball Recap: Springfield Takes a Loss

Springfield lost to St. Cloud Cathedral back in May of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Tigers fell 10-5 to the Crusaders. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Springfield's loss dropped their record down to 8-6. As for St. Cloud Cathedral, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-5 record this season.

Springfield wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 10-8 win against Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart on the 4th. As for St. Cloud Cathedral, they have also already played their next game, a 13-4 defeat against Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial on the 2nd.
