Soccer Game Preview: Camden County vs. Richmond Hill

Camden County hasn't had much luck against Richmond Hill recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. We've got a battle between Wildcats coming up. Camden County will be coming into the contest with an undefeated record on the line.

Camden County's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over Lowndes. Two seems to be a good number for the Wildcats as the squad scooped up a win with the same number of goals in their previous game.

Elijah Rose and Anthony Penko scored both of Camden County's goals, bringing their combined season tally to three goals.

Meanwhile, after soaring to ten goals the game before, Richmond Hill was a bit more limited in their game on Saturday. They came up short against River Ridge, falling 6-0. It was the first time this season that the Wildcats let down their fans at home.

Camden County's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-0. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored eight goals over those three contests. As for Richmond Hill, their loss dropped their record down to 4-1.

Camden County came up short against Richmond Hill in their previous meeting back in March of 2024, falling 3-1. Can Camden County avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
