Football Recap: Bourne Takes a Loss

Bourne's last matchup with West Bridgewater could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's game on Friday. The Canalmen took a blow against the Wildcats, falling 40-6. The Canalmen haven't had much luck with the Wildcats recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Bourne's loss dropped their record down to 5-2. As for West Bridgewater, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bourne will welcome Seekonk at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for West Bridgewater, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Carver at 5:30 p.m.
