Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Fort Dodge). Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Waterloo East Trojans a 16-0 shutout on Wednesday. Considering the Dodgers have won 17 contests by more than six runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Fort Dodge's victory bumped their record up to 24-11. As for Waterloo East, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-21.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Fort Dodge beat the Trojans by a score of 14-0 later that day.
