Heyworth waltzed into their contest on Friday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They were the clear victors by a 14-3 margin over the El Paso-Gridley Titans. With that victory, the Hornets brought their scoring average up to 6.2 runs per game.

Logan Mills made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he tossed five innings while giving up three earned runs off six hits. What's more, he posted four strikeouts, the most he's had over his last four games. He was also big at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

In other batting news, Heyworth got a big performance out of Jackson Law, who went 3-for-4 with three runs and one RBI. Those three runs gave Law a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Braxton Denning, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.

Heyworth always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .625. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as El Paso-Gridley only posted an OBP of .375.

Heyworth's record is now 21-14. As for El Paso-Gridley, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-21.

As of now, neither Heyworth nor the Titans have any future games scheduled.
