Basketball Game Preview: Delaware County Christian Knights vs. Jenkintown Drakes

Delaware County Christian is 1-9 against Jenkintown since January of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Delaware County Christian Knights will be playing in front of their home fans against the Jenkintown Drakes at 4:00 p.m. Delaware County Christian is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

While Delaware County Christian didn't have the best season last year (they finished 7-12), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They took down Atlantic Christian 44-28 on Saturday. The 44-point effort marked the Knights' lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Meanwhile, Jenkintown entered their contest against Dock Mennonite two weeks ago without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. Jenkintown took a 42-32 hit to the loss column at the hands of Dock Mennonite.

Jenkintown's loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 5-5. As for Delaware County Christian, their win bumped their record up to 8-0.
