Soccer Game Preview: Immanuel vs. Reedley

The Immanuel Eagles are taking a road trip to challenge the Reedley Pirates at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Immanuel is coming into the match on a five-game losing streak.

Last Friday, Immanuel didn't have quite enough to beat Hanford West and fell 4-3.

Meanwhile, Reedley's game on Friday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They skirted past Selma 2-1.

Kimberly Garcia and Kendra Escobedo scored both of Reedley's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 33 goals.

Immanuel's loss dropped their record down to 3-11-6. As for Reedley, their record now sits at 11-6-7.

Immanuel came up short against Reedley in their previous matchup back in January, falling 4-2. Can Immanuel avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
