Basketball Game Preview: Muhlenberg Muhls vs. Governor Mifflin Mustangs

Muhlenberg hasn't had much luck against Governor Mifflin recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Muhlenberg Muhls will square off against the Governor Mifflin Mustangs at 7:30 p.m.

Muhlenberg is headed into Tuesday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Thursday. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 38-34 heartbreaker at the hands of Exeter Township.

Meanwhile, Governor Mifflin had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They claimed a resounding 59-31 win over the Scouts. The Mustangs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Governor Mifflin is also on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. As for Muhlenberg, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-11.

Muhlenberg took a serious blow against Governor Mifflin in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, falling 57-24. Can Muhlenberg avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
