Baseball Recap: Wilkinson County Takes a Loss

Wilkinson County lost to Rutland last Friday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Warriors came up short against the Hurricanes, falling 18-3. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Wilkinson County saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jaden Ford, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one run.

Wilkinson County now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Rutland, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Looking ahead, Wilkinson County will take on Windsor Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Rutland, they will host Twiggs County at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
