Recap: Poly Parrots vs. Grant Lancers
The Poly Parrots can now show off six landslide victories after their most recent match on Friday. They really took it to Grant for the full four quarters, racking up a 65-12 victory on the road. With Poly ahead 43-2 at the half, the match was all but over already.
Hannah Lising continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 16 points along with seven steals. She hasn't dropped below two steals for four straight games. Another player making a difference was Jhada Cordon, who scored 11 points along with two steals.
Poly is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a massive bump to their 12-7 record this season. As for Grant, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost six of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-12 record this season.
Poly will look to defend their home court on Monday against Chavez at 4:30 p.m. Chavez will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 869th, while Poly is ranked 269th). As for Grant, they will head out on the road to challenge North Hollywood at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
