Baseball Game Preview: Pulaski Rams vs. Milwaukee Hamilton Wildcats

Pulaski hasn't had much luck against Milwaukee Hamilton recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Rams will take on the Wildcats at 5:00 p.m.

Pulaski couldn't beat Milwaukee Hamilton back in April even though they stacked five runs on them in the first inning. The Rams fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 9-8. While the Rams didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Wildcats 5-1 in the first period.

For Milwaukee Hamilton's part, Ignacio Talamantes made a splash no matter where he played. He struck out eight batters over three innings while giving up just two earned runs off one hit. Those eight strikeouts gave Talamantes a new career-high. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one RBI. Talamantes is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: he's snagged at least one every time he's taken the field this season.

In other batting news, Nyjal Ewing was excellent, going 1-for-2 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. He is becoming a predictor of Milwaukee Hamilton's success: when he posts at least two stolen bases the team is 2-1 (and 1-2 when he doesn't). Brayden Sadler also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Pulaski's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Milwaukee Hamilton, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-12.
