With a playoff win on the line, Banks County rose to the challenge on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Academy for Classical Education Gryphons with a sharp 12-4 win. The Leopards might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 17 games by six runs or more this season.

The victory (which was Banks County's seventh in a row) raised their record to 27-4. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.4 runs on average over those games. As for Academy for Classical Education, their loss ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 23-12.

As of now, neither Banks County nor the Gryphons have any future games scheduled.
