Soccer Recap: Oberlin Comes Up Short

Oberlin was the 5-2 winner over Lorain when they last played one another back in October of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Phoenix lost 7-3 to the Titans on Thursday. Oberlin were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 3-0.

Oberlin's loss dropped their record down to 6-10-1. As for Lorain, they moved to 5-10-1 with that victory, which also ended their three-match losing streak.

Looking ahead, Oberlin will look to defend their home pitch on Monday against Lordstown at 4:45 p.m. As for Lorain, they will square off against Mentor at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
