Soccer Recap: Yerba Buena Takes a Loss

Yerba Buena was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Hill Falcons. The Aztec Warriors were probably out for revenge after losing 2-1 to them when the teams met back in January of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Yerba Buena's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Hill, they now have a winning record of 3-2-2.

Yerba Buena will face off against Oak Grove at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hill, they will square off against San Jose at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. San Jose's last five matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
