Baseball Recap: Oconee County Takes Down Cairo in a Playoff Battle

Oconee County had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They didn't even let the Cairo Syrupmakers on the board on Friday, marking the Warriors' second-straight 5-0 shutout. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 5-0 on Friday.

Oconee County has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-7 record this season. As for Cairo, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-16.

As of now, neither Oconee County nor the Syrupmakers have any future games scheduled.
