Basketball Game Preview: Vintage Crushers vs. Justin-Siena Braves

The Vintage Crushers will head out to face off against the Justin-Siena Braves at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Vintage will head into Tuesday's matchup out to bounce back: they won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Tuesday. They lost 57-33 to Sonoma Valley. The Crushers have struggled against the Dragons recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Lauren Gerenser, who posted six points and five rebounds.

Meanwhile, Justin-Siena waltzed into their contest on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They breezed by the Gauchos to the tune of 56-16. The Braves have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 26 points or more this season.

Justin-Siena's win bumped their record up to 11-2. As for Vintage, their loss dropped their record down to 6-9.

Vintage took a serious blow against Justin-Siena when the teams last played back in January of 2024, falling 67-26. That match was all but decided by halftime, at which point Vintage was down 43-16.
