Soccer Recap: Independence Takes a Loss

Independence was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They came up short against the Prospect Panthers, falling 4-1. The matchup was up for grabs at halftime, but sadly the 76ers struggled afterwards.

Independence's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Prospect, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-7-1 record this season.

Independence has already played their next contest (against Westmont), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Prospect will host Willow Glen at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Willow Glen will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Prospect surely won't give up without a fight.
