Recap: Brashear Bulls vs. Westinghouse Bulldogs
The Brashear Bulls's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight defeat. They fell just short of Westinghouse by a score of 30-27. If Brashear was looking for revenge after losing 30-26 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.
When it comes to explaining why Brashear lost, one person who can't be blamed is Ra'Nyah Morris. Despite the final result, she scored 16 points along with five rebounds and four steals. Another player making a difference was Mosoka Wilonja, who scored no points along with six steals.
Brashear's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Westinghouse, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-4.
Brashear won't have much time to rest: their next game is against the Commodores at 6:30 p.m. on January 31st. As for Westinghouse, they will head out on the road to square off against the Dragons at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
