West Lyon waltzed into their matchup on Friday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They blew past the Ridge View Raptors 11-1. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won 15 contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

West Lyon's victory was their 14th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 27-1. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.6 runs on average over those games. As for Ridge View, with the defeat, they broke their six-game winning streak and moved their record to 14-10.

Looking ahead, West Lyon will be playing at home against Hinton on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Wildcats 3, the Blackhawks 3.7) so any runs scored will be well earned. Ridge View does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
