Softball Recap: Big Pasture Comes Up Short

If Big Pasture was riding high fresh off their 14-1 takedown of Ryan last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Rangers lost 10-3 to the Mountain View-Gotebo Tigers on Friday. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Rangers, who until this matchup were averaging four runs allowed.

Big Pasture saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ashlynn Powell, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one double. Paisley Harrison also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

Big Pasture's loss dropped their record down to 20-15. As for Mountain View-Gotebo, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

As of now, neither Big Pasture nor the Tigers have any future games scheduled.
