Volleyball Recap: Brownstown Central Beats Castle for Their Sixth Straight Victory

Brownstown Central hadn't done well against Castle recently (they were 1-6 in their previous seven matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Braves walked away with a 2-0 win over the Knights. The victory was nothing new for the Braves as they're now sitting on six straight.

Brownstown Central had a senior duo take command as Finley Wheeler had nine digs and one block and Sophie Wischmeier had 11 digs, seven kills, two aces, and one block. Wischmeier is on a roll when it comes to kills, as she's now had five or more in each of the last 35 games she's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Aylah Belding, who had seven kills and six digs.

Brownstown Central's win bumped their record up to 16-3. As for Castle, with the loss, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 15-3.
