Basketball Game Preview: Hoover Tornados vs. Arcadia Apaches

Hoover hasn't had much luck against Arcadia recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Hoover Tornados will look to defend their home court against the Arcadia Apaches at 5:15 p.m.

Hoover is headed into Tuesday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Friday. They took a blow against Burroughs, falling 55-13. The matchup marked the Tornados' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Meanwhile, Arcadia waltzed into their contest on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 42-29 win over the Panthers.

Arcadia is also on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. As for Hoover, they now have a losing record at 7-8.

Hoover was taken down by Arcadia 59-22 in their previous meeting back in January of 2024. Thankfully for Hoover, Shelby Chung (who dropped a triple-double on 18 points, 14 boards, and 13 steals) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
