Recap: Chula Vista Spartans vs. Otay Ranch Mustangs
The Chula Vista Spartans suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Wednesday. They were beaten by Otay Ranch 65-19. Chula Vista has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Ta'mya Lewis was Chula Vista's leading scorer, having posted eight points.
Malissa Mckoy took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with two assists.
Chula Vista's loss was their fourth straight at home, which bumped their record down to 10-12. As for Otay Ranch, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Chula Vista will face off against Montgomery at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Otay Ranch's road trip will continue as they head out to face Victory Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on January 19th.
