Basketball Recap: Kadence Lloyd and Jordyn Washington Secure Win for St. Anthony

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Bishop Montgomery, St. Anthony was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They snuck past the St. Monica Mariners with a 65-61 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 64-58 on January 14th.

Leading St. Anthony to victory were Jordyn Washington and Kadence Lloyd. Washington posted 20 points along with eight rebounds and five assists, while Lloyd put up 22 points and six boards. Lloyd is trending in the right direction considering she's improved her point production for three straight games. Dallyn Knox was another key player, putting up ten points and six boards.

The victory got St. Anthony back to even at 12-12. As for St. Monica, their defeat dropped their record down to 18-6.

St. Anthony will be playing in front of their home fans against St. Mary's Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. St. Monica has already played their next match (against San Dimas), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
