Football Recap: Fort Osage Extends Home Winning Streak to Four

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Fort Osage had no problem doing just that on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Truman Patriots as they made off with a 35-14 win. 35 seems to be a good number for the Indians as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.

Fort Osage pushed their record up to 7-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 12.0 points on average over those games. As for Truman, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.

Looking ahead, Fort Osage will square off against Rockhurst at 7:00 p.m. on November 7. Truman does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
