Jenkins scored the most runs they've had this season on Saturday, but it wasn't enough. They fell 11-6 to the Atkinson County Rebels. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jackson McKenzie was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run while going 3-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Pedro Fabian, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base and one RBI.

Jenkins' loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Atkinson County, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 3-1.

Jenkins has already played their next matchup, a 19-1 victory against The Habersham School on the 25th. As for Atkinson County, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 9-2 defeat against Brunswick on the 22nd.
