Soccer Recap: Ballard Takes a Loss

The Ballard Bombers came up short against the Knoxville Panthers on Tuesday and fell 3-1. While losing is never fun, Ballard can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Iowa soccer rankings (they are ranked 138th, while Knoxville are ranked 43rd).

Ballard's loss dropped their record down to 9-14-2. As for Knoxville, the win (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 13-1-3.

Ballard does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Knoxville, they will venture away from home to square off against Perry at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Knoxville are facing Perry at the right time seeing as Perry are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
