Baseball Recap: Dwight Comes Up Short

St. Bede hit Dwight with a 11-run fifth inning on Monday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Trojans came up short against the Bruins, falling 13-0. The Trojans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bruins apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2025.

Dwight is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-7. As for St. Bede, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-6 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Dwight will take on Clifton Central at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Trojans will need to watch out since the Comets have now posted at least ten runs in their last four matchups. As for St. Bede, they are taking a road trip to face off against Yorkville Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
