Soccer Game Preview: Silver Creek vs. King's Academy

The Silver Creek Raiders will head out on the road to challenge the King's Academy Knights at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.

Silver Creek is looking to tack another W on to their season record, something they couldn't quite do against Piedmont Hills on Wednesday. The two teams finished up on equal footing with a 2-2 draw.

Natalia Niebles was the only thing that stood between Silver Creek and a shutout considering she scored both of Silver Creek's goals, bringing her season total up to nine goals.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask King's Academy). Their defense stepped up to hand Scotts Valley a 3-0 shutout on Tuesday.

Silver Creek's draw gives them a new season record of 3-3-1. As for King's Academy, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-4-2.
