Volleyball Recap: Coretta Scott King YWLA Comes Up Short

Coretta Scott King YWLA was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the KIPP Atlanta Collegiate Warriors. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Soaring Eagle of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

While Coretta Scott King YWLA was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-17.

Coretta Scott King YWLA's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for KIPP Atlanta Collegiate, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

Coincidentally, Coretta Scott King YWLA and KIPP Atlanta Collegiate will both be playing Carver the next time they take the court. The Warriors will head out to face the Panthers at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Soaring Eagle will play them later in the day, at 7:30 p.m.
