Basketball Recap: Littlestown Victorious

It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Littlestown ultimately got the result they hoped for on Monday. They slipped by the York County Tech Spartans 37-36. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Thunderbolts also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2024.

Despite the loss, York County Tech had strong showings from Faith Atwater, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 12 rebounds, and Tessa Runkle, who posted seven points. Those seven points gave Runkle a new career-high.

The win snapped Littlestown's losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 3-6 record. As for York County Tech, their defeat was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-13.

Littlestown has already played their next contest (against Fairfield), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. York County Tech has also has no score uploaded for their next matchup, this one against Delone Catholic.
