Baseball Game Preview: Thomasville Bulldogs vs. Worth County Rams

The Thomasville Bulldogs will face off against the Worth County Rams at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Thomasville's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They came out on top against Berrien by a score of 5-0. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last three times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Meanwhile, Worth County posted their closest win since February 24th on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out Irwin County 2-0.

Worth County has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-8 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Thomasville, their win bumped their record up to 9-18.

Thomasville was able to grind out a solid victory over Worth County when the teams last played back in April of 2022, winning 7-2. Will the Bulldogs repeat their success, or do the Rams have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
