Softball Recap: Cedar Shoals Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Cedar Shoals's offense. They came up short against the Flowery Branch Falcons on Tuesday, falling 16-0. Having soared to a lofty 13 runs in the game before, the Jaguars' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Cedar Shoals' defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Flowery Branch, they pushed their record up to 4-3 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Cedar Shoals is set to take on their familiar foe Madison County at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Flowery Branch will square off against rival Eastside at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
