            The Independence 76ers are taking a road trip to  face off against the Lincoln Lions  at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Independence's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.
Independence is headed in fresh off scoring the most  goals they have   all season. They lost  8-1 to Westmont on Tuesday.
Meanwhile,  after failing to score in their last  matchup, Lincoln made sure to put some  goals up on the board against Gunderson  on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Grizzlies  a   4-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Lions, who have now won seven games by four  goals or more  so far this season.
They hit Gunderson with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from  Patzily Navarro-Correa (2),  Anahya Watts,  and  Cece Giguere.
 Independence's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Lincoln, their victory bumped their record up to 7-5-1.
