Softball Recap: Pueblo South Comes Up Short

Pueblo South was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 23-6 to the Rock Canyon Jaguars.

Madisyn Gilliland made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with four RBI, one run, and one double. That double marked the first that she has hit this season.

Pueblo South's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Rock Canyon, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Looking ahead, Pueblo South will challenge Valor Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Rock Canyon, they will take on Lakewood at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Tigers will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Jaguars surely won't give up without a fight.
