Softball Recap: Kingston Wins Going Away Against Madill

While Kingston put up some runs on Monday, the same can't be said for Madill. The Redskins put the hurt on the Wildcats with a sharp 10-0 win. The Redskins haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Amberly Hallum looked comfortable as she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over four innings pitched. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Kate Ratzlaff was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Those three RBI gave her a new career-high. Kenley Hallum also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.

Kingston's win bumped their record up to 12-5. As for Madill, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 17 of their last 21 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-22 record this season.

As of now, neither Kingston nor Madill have any future games scheduled.
