Basketball Recap: Contra Costa Christian Takes a Loss

Contra Costa Christian lost against California School for the Deaf back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Contra Costa Christian Cougars received a blow as they fell 44-26 to the California School for the Deaf Eagles. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Contra Costa Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for California School for the Deaf, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 4-5 record this season.

Contra Costa Christian will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Redwood Christian at 4:00 p.m. on January 21st. As for California School for the Deaf, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against California Crosspoint at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. California School for the Deaf is facing California Crosspoint at the right time seeing as California Crosspoint is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
