Soccer Game Preview: North Gwinnett vs. Meadowcreek

The North Gwinnett Bulldogs are taking a road trip to take on the Meadowcreek Mustangs at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

North Gwinnett proved they can win big on Friday (they won by three) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out West Forsyth 2-1. The win continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the Wolverines: they've now won three in a row.

Kyler SUTHERLAND and Noah SUDERMAN scored both of North Gwinnett's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Meanwhile, Meadowcreek won against Berkmar last Tuesday with five goals and they decided to stick to that goal total again on Friday. Meadowcreek blew past Parkview 5-2. The Mustangs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matchups by three goals or more this season.

Meadowcreek is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 20 goals over those four contests. The victory was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 3-6.

North Gwinnett came out on top in a nail-biter against Meadowcreek when the teams last played back in March of 2024, sneaking past 3-2. Does North Gwinnett have another victory up their sleeve, or will Meadowcreek turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
