Softball Recap: Cheyenne/Reydon Comes Up Short

If Cheyenne/Reydon was feeling good fresh off their 9-1 takedown of Hammon on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bears came up short against the Shattuck Indians on Tuesday, falling 11-3. The Bears have struggled against the Indians recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Cheyenne/Reydon's loss dropped their record down to 19-10-1. As for Shattuck, they are on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 18 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-5 record this season.

Cheyenne/Reydon does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Shattuck, they will head out to square off against Canute at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Trojans' pitching crew has only allowed 3.6 runs per game this season, so the Indians' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
