Basketball Recap: Concord Bears vs. Hercules Titans
Concord won the last time they faced Hercules, and things went their way on Monday too. The Concord Bears blew past the Hercules Titans 67-31.
Concord got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Lamiyah Washington out in front who shot 4-for-7 from beyond the arc and almost dropped a double-double on 23 points and nine rebounds. The match was Washington's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Tariya Whitfield, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 14 rebounds.
Concord's victory bumped their record up to 2-0.
