Soccer Recap: South Cobb Falls to Carrollton in First Game of Season

South Cobb unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of the Carrollton Trojans by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. The match was a 2-2 toss-up at halftime, but the Eagles couldn't quite close it out.

The win made it two in a row for Carrollton and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

Coming up, South Cobb will head out to take on Douglas County at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Carrollton, they will look to defend their home pitch on Thursday against Starr's Mill at 8:00 p.m.
