Soccer Recap: Bay Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

With a playoff win on the line, Bay rose to the challenge on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out the Beachwood Bison 2-1. Given Bay's advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio soccer rankings (they are ranked 18th, while Beachwood are ranked 140th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Evan Catteau was the driving force of Bay's attack as he scored both of Bay's goals, bringing his season total up to six goals.

The victory (which was Bay's fourth in a row) raised their record to 17-2-2. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 25 goals over those four matches. As for Beachwood, their loss dropped their record down to 12-6-2.

Bay has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin on the 29th. Beachwood does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
