Basketball Game Preview: Washington Huskies vs. Mission San Jose Warriors

Washington is 2-8 against Mission San Jose since February of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Washington Huskies are taking a road trip to challenge the Mission San Jose Warriors at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Washington will bounce into Wednesday's match after beating James Logan, who they had gone 0-9 against in their nine prior meetings. Washington walked away with a 50-42 win over James Logan on Friday.

Mission San Jose's found some homefield redemption this week after a overtime loss to Granada on Friday. Mission San Jose came out on top against Kennedy by a score of 54-44.

Mission San Jose pushed their record up to 10-9 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.3 points per game. As for Washington, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season.

Washington strolled past Mission San Jose in their previous meeting back in December of 2024 by a score of 51-32. The rematch might be a little tougher for Washington since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
